OK but painting Vance as “just” someone who would be bad is minimizing what he can do. At best he’d continue what Trump is doing

He would probably back off some of the more unpopular stuff, since he doesn't and won't have MAGA behind him threatening to kill anyone who disagrees with him.

I don’t think that’s what this is, though. It partially is, but MAGA is an evolution of the Tea Party Movement with elements of the Militia Movement & the Evangelical Christian Movement, none of which needed Trump. They’ll weaken without him, but most will fall in line

No, the only things about them aside from Trump love are still there. The hate, the resentment, the xenophobia. That’s always been the primary element of them. Everything else is obfuscation.
