Where did you gather that I am pushing for Newsom to be president? You are filling in a lot of blanks on my behalf. Right now, Newsom is one of the only people fight MAGA with their own fire. That's it. That needs to happen. Mockery is a powerful weapon against fascism.

Beyond that, someone who by day trolls Trump and by night going on podcasts where he agrees with far right extremists and then the next day clearing out homeless encampments, we kind of get mixed signals about his actual usefulness here. And his AI slop memes are actually kind of fucking stupid.

No, his AI slop memes are essential. He is highlighting how dumb Trump and MAGA are posting the same types of trash without irony. When they get indignant about Newsom's AI slop memes, it is easy to put an actual MAGA post up next to them for comparison. He is attacking MAGA's roots.

And yes, I am aware of his stupid podcast, who he had on it, and what he said. I am also aware of his terrible treatment of the homeless. He is not presidential material, but he the right person to have fighting MAGA in the trenches. We need people fighting MAGA at all levels.
