My father had to have one put in when he was in the hospital a few times and he always liked to freak me out so he told me all the details. He died at 49 but also had really swollen legs that were horribly swollen. And he had a heart condition. That's why I know he's not doing good.
So sorry for your loss, same with my SIL, but she had type 1 diabetes and she never took care of herself. Continued drinking heavily throughout her life. She eventually went into heart and kidney failure. We had to have her deemed non compliant, it was sad.
So sorry to hear that as well. Sorry for your loss. It totally stinks. It really does. I'm glad that I got sober when I did and I go to my appointments actually every 3 months to do blood work to check myself and make sure I'm okay. I'm trying to live as long as I can.

Thank you. Yeah it's messed up. He didn't take care of himself. It's sad but it is what it is. It's been over 22 years now. It's just crazy.
