I mean as bad and old and disheveled as he is right now they might not comment on it but they all see it. They have ears and eyes and opinions even if they're not going to tell you anything. It's so freaking obvious. You can't hide it at this point. Everyone knows.
So it's from rick wilson? Could be true but I would always lean towards he's full of shit in general. But still even then it's so obvious that something bad is going on there and vance has let out a few hints in the last week or two also.
It kind of shocks me that Vance would be so open about this in public comments. I go back and forth between thinking something's going on to make him think he needs to say these things or if he really is just that tasteless.
I think it's just carelessness and sloppiness personally. I think that in general he's conniving and bad and evil but he's also pretty dopey. When he gets in front of people that he has to make small talk with he's going to say some stupid shit. But the stupid shit could be controversy.
I have wondered the same thing though. Because trump is all over the news so it's not like he doesn't hear about it. I wonder if there is some friction because how could there not be? There's always friction with him no matter what. It's definitely a weird puzzling dynamic.
I suspect, after Vance didn't wow the far right the way Trump wanted (Indian wife!!!) he put him in a closet after the RNC, and Vance has basically languished there, so this might be less for the boss and more a reminder for everyone he's the one guy Trump can't fire, he'll be there
He has very little power but maybe he's trying to remind everyone that he's the VP for a very old man so be nice to him and take his side sometimes because tomorrow he might be the boss.
