The judges aren't the problem here. The supreme court stepped in and stopped it last time. All of the outrage should be towards republicans.

Oh absolutely! I specifically blame SCROTUS for basically letting Trump do whatever the fuck he wants. I can only assume if they’re not bought & paid for, they’re compromised by Putin who has dirt on them, or else why bow down to a sickly wannabe dictator?

No problem, no offense taken. I’m thankful for the small victories that slowly chip away at the Trump administration & hopefully add up to lasting change in the right direction. That being said, normalcy is gone as is the hope that another Trump wannabe won’t come along at some point soon.

And to add the one that was holding them in contempt last time is a republican judge but he did the right thing. He's following the law but they stepped in. They're still challenging it now.

I dunno…given the additional hi-jinx the DOJ pulled today (not having their documents ready for the judge by 3pm) she may have less patience & feel less deferential toward the Supes. She might find DOJ in contempt and make SCOTUS overturn her. At least, one can hope.

I think that's probably going to be the case. The problem is that these things take a long time because everything is dragged out in hearings that take time too. They already delayed like a week today. It's embarrassing for this DOJ if they actually had any self worth whatsoever.
