How does this compare to Napalm? Agent Orange? I was a little young for that. But this, you know, well, authoritarian governments don't sign the Geneva Convention (and neither did we). Their only aim is to maintain dominance so they can maximize shareholder value.

Napalm is gelled fuel. It sticks to just about everything as the fuel burns itself out. Agent Orange is/was pesticide, and Soldiercide. It caused/s neurological problems, cancers, birth disorders, and so much more. White Phosphorous / "Willie-Pete" is a metal that burns, and can't be 'put-out'. 1/

It burns super hot [1472F - 4532F), and sticks instantly to just about anything. Israel has used it in Lebanon and Palestine for decades. We sell it to them. By "can't put it out", it burns underwater, and re-ignites/burns hotter again after getting back in air. www.who.int/news-room/fa... 2/2

3/2 It's specified as a War-Crime when used against people. Israel and other armies just claim that they use it to "defoliate" an area. Then again, using CS gas is also a war-crime when used against other soldiers, but we allow our police to use it against unarmed civilians . . . So . . . Yeah.

It's not a war crime at all but it has been suggested that it's use in built up areas be seriously considered to be banned. Articles in the Geneva convention prohibit it's use v civilians.

ihl-databases.icrc.org/en/customary... The US only signed onto the post-WW1 Geneva Gas Protocol after the Vietnam War. "[...] which prohibits the use of riot-control agents as a method of warfare and which allows no reservations." But we added 'reservations'. Because of course we would.
