There seem to be no appetite to challenge reform seriously. It shouldn't be at all difficult to poke reform in their weak spots (e.g. Brexit, Trump, Putin, economic plans ...). Associating Farage with Jimmy Savile, instead, is so inept that it looks like it's meant to boost Farage's popularity.

Own goal. Why are labour folks so inept. They have had years to think this shit through but screw stuff up almost every time, which overshadows all the good stuff they are doing.

Whenever we refer to Reform Ltd without the "Ltd" we're giving them positive coverage too, simply because we all know the system is broken and the thing their name is, without the "Ltd" is needed - just not their version of that thing. #StopFascism

The MSM don’t want him to be exposed as a fraud, fail and wither away. He is worth more to them in his current toxic state.

Agreed. By letting him win the debate, though, they might actually open for him the door of n. 10. I think that not only the media value his presence in their space, they (e.g. Murdoch, Rothermere, ... ) also actually want him in power

Although Murdoch may think twice after his run in with Trump?

He's an extreme right winger, he will find, together with the other similar minded billionaires, a less brutish alternative to Trump, who is making them lose money. These people are not friends, they use each other but their utilitarian approach works better than the 'principled' opposition.

... rich people always find ways to cooperate in order to defend their wealth. Poor people never seem to agree on which way to fight poverty ...

Don't agree. Farage saying he's going to cancel the online safety bill is meaningless, folks need to see what that looks like in practice. This was a perfect example, Parents are in doubt what this means for their kids and their responsibilities in protecting them.

Conversely it would be a better strategy to poke them in their strong spots to make them look weaker.

Well, their strong spot is immigration, basically, and it taps deep into people's lizard brain (different = enemy; poor = after my wealth).

How do you suggest to attack them on their strong positions? Trying to convince people that immigration is a good thing? They don't buy it. The major parties, currently, are trying to out-farage Reform but I can'tsee any form of frontal attack.

By showing the real stats that make them not as good on “illegal” immigration as they portray themselves to be.
