I have a relative who watched it for years, mostly because their spouse did. This relative began to have private reservations about Trump. When the spouse died, the relative quit watching Fox & now loathes Trump. Definitely not a lefty, but deprogramming happened automatically in the absence of Fox.

There’s a great documentary called “The Brainwashing of My Dad,” by Jen Senko. Not a ton of airplay yet, but very powerful!

Fox news is a pysop info war. Once people get hooked they can't stop. It's an addiction. I know many people that it's all they watch. Literally no other entertainment. It is heroin on the brain.

My dad wasn't a Foxer till he met an (otherwise) very nice lady. Over time, as his dementia progressed, he'd watch Fox and then call me or my brother in a panic. "I need to sell stocks!" "Bad things are coming!" shit like that. Then he'd look forward to Hannity. So freakin' sad.

Years back, was really surprised that a waiting room at Northwestern Hospital(Chicago) had FOX on the room dominating TV.

Same. If it was more social/familial pressure there is definitely potential for change.

I like to think that deprogramming will happen automatically once we get rid of Donnie Demento
