It’s not even the healthcare although it’s related. It’s the capitalist cabal who won’t allow us enough R/R time. Which working person took two full weeks of vacation for R/R this year! They make us feel guilty for not slaving for them! Some countries (France etc) get and take a whole fn’ month!
If you took a whole month off your stressful job to decompress and enjoy the beauty of other places or get into nature, the doctors say both your mental health and physiological signs improve! But reportedly 65% of Americans don’t take vacation and the other 35% take only 7 days at a time!
We are compounding our stressors that ultimately feed toxins, cancerous cells and degrade mental health because the billionaire cabal has set it up that way, for the pittance they pay us relative to their earnings!
…Now we hear choruses led by the same billionaire class that we should work ‘till age 70, slash or forfeit the SS/Medicare we paid into while they raked millions/hr and we’re cutoff for SS wages at 168,000 even if they made 30 billion that year! How can this be good for any working person’s health?
Forgive my disgust for those who call the rest of us “moochers”; give us two week vacations which most of us don’t use because, “vacation anxiety syndrome” and who frown on higher minimum wage and adequate health care for the rest of us. All while their space ships wait to fly to their(Ur)anus.
