Day 8 of Covid. I would encourage everyone to do everything in their power to protect themselves. I’ve had Covid several times. The first case was awful & the other 2 were much more mild. This is definitely more like the first one. It’s insidious. I still have fever, testing positive & a bad cough.🙏

Pau D’Arco bark tea. It cures it for me immediately. It’s totally safe to try too. it has a slight Sasparilla or root beer flavor. Just boil the bark for at least 15 minutes to get all the good stuff out of it. Make sure the tea is a dark brown. I swear by it. It has saved my life and my pets lives.

Try a pulse-ox (a clip for finger to check oxygen levels.) check at least 2-3x day. If O2 numbers go to the upper 80’s or less,call your MD immediately for instructions. Follow up with your MD when feeling better. Other medical problems can happen after Covid infection. Your doc can screen you.🙏❤️

Rest like it’s your job. At least 6 weeks no getting your heart rate up. I had it for the first time in March and just now am back to my weight lifting capacity from where I was before. But I did deadlift 205 on Saturday 😃

It depends on what they are sick with but for illnesses not transmitted by droplets or air no, masks aren’t required.

Last Nov I had covid for 4th time. It was a brutal 3 weeks and it took 4 more to recover my energy & ellimate the cough. Lost my sense of smell for 2 months. I am vacced & boosted. I just had it again a month ago. 5 days medium illness, plus another 2 weeks of exhaustion.

With the low uptake of vaccinations + now a campaign to stop them altogether, I predict a massive wave soon. I believe it's already begun. Stock up on masks, get vaccinated (if it's possible, even) and maintain distance where you can. The uptake where I live, and it's free, is only 38% 1x per yr.

The new variant on which this autumn’s boosters are based is said to be nasty-I’m sorry you’ve had it so many times but you obviously need to get vaccinated when 3 months have elapsed since your last infection (if you can?)
Vaccines don’t prevent transmission or getting COVID. Masks do. Doing both will keep you alive.

Only way to protect against SARS2, aka COVID, is with a mask. Vaccine es only help the acute infection….They do not stop transmission, and transmission is the problem. Masking and not contracting it protects from the long-term effects that COVID enhances. #MaskUp #Maskswork

Just got over my first bout. No fever but fatigue the likes of which I have NEVER in my 43 years on Earth felt before, stuffy nose, aches and and loss of appetite. Paxlovid cleared it right up but left a metallic taste in my mouth.
Take it easy—VERY easy for at least 6 weeks. It’s nearly impossible to do it, I know, but it’s the best way we know to prevent long term problems.
That’s basically the plan. I was doing a play at the time and caught it Saturday of opening weekend (outdoor show, low risk.) I skipped out on four of the shows as a precaution but made it for this last weekend. Still pretty beat so gonna take some downtime and chill for a bit.
So sorry. It’s short term disruptive, but hopefully not long term! Chronic illness and Covid are a terrible mix.
I fear people have let their guard down believing we’re in the endemic stage. We will never be rid of SARS-CoV-2. Hopefully we’ll adapt and lessen its impact yet the long haul peer reviewed research demonstrating the damage to the neurological system is chilling. Feel better soon!
It is endemic, all that means is that it's a regularly occurring disease. The flu is endemic. We'll never be rid of it, and it has no season.

It's very important to get vaccinated regularly, at least twice a year. Effectiveness (against all aspects—from infection risk to severity to Long Covid risk) wanes with time. In addition to biannual vaccination (or more), I wear an N95 in all public buildings & vehicles. Never had Covid AFAIK.
