I wish the reporter would ask, “if tariff money is flowing into the US, who is getting it?” Where does the tariff revenue land as billions pour into the U.S.? What agency is in charge of the spreadsheet? How can we see the list of all the new found tariff dollars as they enter the U.S.
It's deliberate deception. The oligarchs want the FICA cap to be applicable to income taxes. This means that income over $176,100 per year would pay no income taxes. Tariffs (consumption taxes) replace the lost revenue & with spending cuts, it would balance out The Wealthy-Win, People-Lose

Got word closing the call center I work in along with my coworkers as tariffs have hurt sales and cutting labor costs is all they can do besides raise prices which hurts sales…becomes vicious cycle. Outsourcing our jobs so much for America first. Thanks Trump and all who voted for him.

As the respondent correctly states, the money isn't flowing in. It's already here and it is importers/companies paying it to the government and then the same importers/companies recoup it through higher prices to the consumers.
