I'm Canadian... I'm quite happy when Americans call me a socialist 😆 I always retort with something like.... well, at least if I have a heart attack, I won't be putting my family on the street.

That's literally what happened to my friend. Her father died of a heart attack in hospital, and then they lost their house.
