Okay, I understand what you’re saying. When I create line art for a client, I don’t start coloring until the client is fully satisfied with the line art. Once they are happy, then I begin the coloring process. Also, I made 5 color version for a client until the style matched perfectly

Omg I love yugioh! A lot of my early drawings were inspired by the hair and eyes. I don’t t really draw like that anymore though. Definitely don’t have that style anymore

I was one of those kids obsessed with the yugioh zexal series… 🤭 will never forget the kids that made me feel bad for drawing in that style though, because they didn’t like it
I watched all the spinoffs besides go rush which I'm watching as the dub is being released. When watching Zexal I realized how much I related to shark and how similar he was to my fursona in those ways. It was very cathartic
I haven’t seen all of them, just the original and also the zexal series! Loved it so much. And wow! Maybe I’ll take inspo from the series again and get wild with the hairs when drawing again. Honestly might do that for my comic I’m about to start

One of the big important things is how they design hair. They have a lot of 3D like shapes which make them really stand out. Also with the revisions a lot of artists dont get what I want and if I'm paying for something it needs to work out otherwise I'm wasting my money for nothing
Yea I agree - Its because of the shading and edginess they put into stuff I understand, and I believe normally its becuase of a lack of communication and bouncing of ideas that will make someone understand the wants and the needs Make sense and yes open to revisions until something is perfect
