Colbert will be fine. CBS maybe not so much. Cowards die a thousand deaths.

CBS has blown it with 60 Minutes settlement and Colbert. I've watched the CBS Evening News since I was a kid with Walter Cronkite. It was pretty good with Norah, but she disappeared. Now they changed the format with less actual News than ever. TV is a big indicator of change and is very influential
It is my religion. I watch it all day now that I'm retired. It is not the same tv news I grew up with. I never had cable till I was an adult and enjoyed American Network TV. Shame fox and 24hr news cycle for overwhelming us with news. I grew up with CBC and CTV and newspapers.
We watched CTV News too. It was a big deal to get Canadian TV, one or two extra channels. Cable changed everything and now I stream everything. I just don't know what news to put on. I usually have CNN because I can watch it on HBOMax or CBS on Paramount, but I don't want to give my time to CBS
We watch msnbc and little else in the way of news. No Canadian news oddly, just local. I'm not sure how but we started watching to see trump get his in 2015. We are still anxiously watching and waiting.
I never watched news like I have since 2015. I was in the FOX bubble for a long time. I'd fallen into evangelicalism. I'm out of that cult now, but knowing first hand the 'other side' makes me nervous. Without cable there's not as many choices
I escaped the mandatory church attendance at age 12. I loved Sunday School but today I just try not to be a jerk and thank Jesus for being a good role model. We had fox for the first trump election for one month. Short on skirt, news and integrity.
