Not by giving them a platform to spew their fascist rhetoric. It's perfectly clear and well documented how the GOP became who they are. Giving them a microphone to let them spin their hatred in the name of "understanding" and "cooperation" is, in my opinion, straight-up complicity.

Let's look at his Steve Bannon "interview". He didn't push back on Bannon's repeated false claims about trump winning in 2020 & made very few interjections during the interview. He meekly gave Bannon the platform to spread his lies without fact-checking or resistance. He gave the fascist the mic.

He doesn’t need to platform them. He’s not trying to speak to us, he’s trying to speak to them. That’s the issue with the Democratic Party. They are too much of a purist. They do not let anyone in who has even the slightest difference in opinion. Dems need to be big tent if they want to win.
