The moment eyes locked....
Exquisite!
Amazing and awesome!
Stunning! OMG, thank you so much!
A Peregrine Falcon fly-by. The fastest animal on earth. 242 mph / 390 kph in a dive. Watch the eyes as it looks directly at the camera lens. Stunning video capture.
Those eyes!
amazing
Oh my. This is utterly fascinating and very inspiring. You have a steady aim. 💜

Magic
Wow! She’s a beauty!
Breath taking!
Wow so amazing beautiful 💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
Extraordinary!
The lift of the wings is designed beyond science. The secret of air filling the void is a miracle.
Awesome ❤️
this is fabulous
I was in Sacramento at the end of May for lobbying and I opened the curtains in my hotel room and this guy flew in and landed on the railing
Sorry, I know this is off the subject, but is that a freeway over a building? 😬
Not sure but that's definitely weird
Looks like a parking garage.. that is different though
Then he spoke - hey human, you hazz spare mouse?
LOL. I think he had just hunted; look closely at his talons.
Beautiful! For some reason I thought they were smaller
At UC Davis Health in Sacramento we have a pair of peregrine falcons who return every year to nest at the hospital tower. There is a webcam to watch the eggs hatch and the chicks grow into fledglings. And, yes, that is a parking garage under the freeway. This photo is from downtown Sac.
Cal has peregrines that nest in the Campanile. The female Annie passed away a couple of years ago and I think her mate died too. I think there's a new pair that have taken over the nest.
They are fascinating to watch, aren’t they? I believe the male from our pair died a few years ago. The female showed up with a younger male the following year.
😮😍
Outstanding!
Sensational and exhilarating shot! And those peepers! Damn
Beautiful.
A bird on a mission.
Amazing
Beautiful video.
Beautiful footage, I especially like the opening score overlay to Top Gun. Nice touch! ;^)
Great shot. Thank you for sharing.
Stunning!
Video of the week. How utterly gorgeous!
Wow!
Wow!!! Spectacular!
They move in absolute silence. This clip would be more powerful without a soundtrack. Sometimes moving in deadly silence is the best soundtrack.
🔇
That's how I watched it! Amazing!
Absolutely gorgeous
Incredible! ❤️
STUNNING!!!! Thank you for posting this! So wonderful!
That is one elegant predator

Thanks KO!! Breath taking. Makes me wish I could fly!!
Spectacular… Smooth. Loved watching the tail adjust ever so slightly on her glide path. Great side eye too.😂😎✌️
Raptors are such incredible creatures and peregrines are a favorite. There is at least one pair that nests in big churches in Lewiston ME
Dreamy!!!
@Delta This is the pilot I expect to see on my upcoming flight. Regards.
What a beautiful creature! Thanks for transporting me on her flight! Very nice!!!
That really is incredible.
Awesome! 👌

Absolutely majestic!
Wowza.
So beautiful.
That’s amazing footage!! Admire the photo craft and the flying
Don't they fly 200+ miles per hour. I thought I read that they were one of the fastest birds on earth!
yes the fastest
Thank you!! That is what I thought. They go screaming in & out of their nests in the cliffs.
The tail acting like an aileron.
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing!!
Right on brother. Stupendous work. Really majestic bird . They introduced them to my home town of Cincinnati to compete against the city’s pigeons.
Absolutely incredi!
📌
That is soooo cool!!! Here is a documentary film that is just as amazing.

Beautiful!❤️
Beautiful
Wow!
Stunning. In the 90's I was in my garage, side door open but the garage doors closed. A mourning dove was walking outside the door then panicked and flew in. A fraction of a second later a peregrine dive-bombed inches by my head at supersonic speed. U-turned before the far wall but missed the dove.
That doesn’t sound like a peregrine falcon hunt, are you sure it wasn’t a hawk?
It all happened so fast that I couldn't in a court of law say I was 100% sure but they are common around here and I see them on the telephone poles in my yard at dusk now and then so I'm about 99+% sure.
I’m not trying to rain on your parade or anything, Hawk kills are just as impressive as Falcon kills
A typical Peregrine Falcon hunt is surprise from a great height where they hit the object bird at high speed, not at street level where they could collide with the ground. Sorry but it sounds like a Hawk whose hunting strategy is a chase.
I just looked up what hawks are common in our area and it’s mostly Cooper’s hawks, red-tailed hawks and red-shouldered hawks. My friend Kathy had me download the Merlin app and you get a sense of what’s flying around your hood.
😳
Honestly if I hadn't turned to look it might have gotten its beak stuck in my left temple it was that close. Feathers (both birds) everywhere afterwards.
Out of focus in a few places but….oh my ever loving gawd! This is absolutely stunning!! I don’t even care at all about any imperfections. They don’t amount to a hill of beans. This is beautiful and I am jelli, sir!
Birds of prey😍😍😍 So majestic and intense!!
Stunning footage - just amazing!
Thank you. Reminded me that there is a beautiful world out there! What a beauty!
Excellent!!!!!!
Wow, just wow!
OUTSTANDING‼️
amazing footage..awe inspiring how this bird apparently controls its flight also via movement of its tail. Maybe does something aeronautically similar to a tail rudder of a plane. Just a guess as I'm not an aeronautical engineer 🤔
Holy cow! That's absolutely amazing footage.
That's perhaps the best footage of a bird I've seen?
Wow! Just Super Wow! I’ve watched Catalina Island peregrine falcon nest streaming cams for some time. As chicks they are little fluff balls destined to be primo killers in the sky.
Wow
Sweet, the stealth fighter of all birds of prey. It's insane to know when diving in for a meal, they can reach about 250mph+/- Majestic bird indeed.
Makes me think of dear precious Annie 🙏 Queen of Strawberry Creek Superintendent of the Campanille Prolific progenitor of peregrine Heroine to UC Berkeley Forever ❤️ and ever ❤️ news.berkeley.edu/wp-content/u...
Wow!
TY!!

Amazing
Magnificent. Absolutely spectacular.
Stanley Livingston seagull look different
Had a Great Horned Owl cruise over my head, close enough that I could feel the air move. It was dusk in Tilden Park, Berkeley and I was walking on a firebreak when it came headon towards me.
She is magnificent!
How did you stabilize it so well?
You would have to ask him
Awesome
Looks like he's starin' you down boyo 😃
The stability of their head and eyes is absolutely absurd.
Nice!
Incredible! Thanks for sharing; I've watched a dozen times.
Fantastic click
Unbelievable
Awesome
"Falcon Leader, Hawk 3, contact, possible bogeys, 2 pigeons, 7 miles north, you are clear to intercept."
Amazing!!!! 🤩
This is a crazy wonderful video! Thank you!
Spectacular!
What an amazing perspective!!! You could see her tail-feathers acting as rudders to keep the flight steady!
Truly impressive. If I were t be reincarnated as a bird this would be my choice.
