I am perplexed at how Americans refuse to stand together in solidarity as countrymen unless it is to hurt the less fortunate be racist, protect guns, protect money. It won’t be perfect but you have to start somewhere. You can have some of what you want, or you can have a kick n the teeth.
. For over 100 years they’ve been using sociology against us dividing people by race, class, fear, and culture wars so we never build real solidarity. It’s not hard to understand: you can have some progress, or you can take a kick in the teeth. Waiting for ‘perfect’ just keeps us stuck. .
There is no perfect politician. Anyone who stands up to a bully like Trump is what we need at the moment. It’s a harm-reduction model not Utopia. Utopia may or may not come later depending on how things unravel.
