If presidents are allowed to impound money to wage economic war on half the country and disappear residents on vague claims, a Constitutional Convention starts to become the best rules-based alternative to civil conflict and eventual national dissolution.
I don’t see how any significant amendment coming out a constitutional convention could be ratified by 38 states.
Blue counties are not going to keep providing 80% of the GDP while letting Sam Alito and Chris Rufo dictate how we live, love, and keep our environment. It's just not going to happen.
Biggest question will be how do you keep federal tax dollars from leaving those counties in the first place, but I guess if they destroy the IRS...
Plus single payer health care, taxation of excessive wealth, real anti trust, no gerrymandering, and more. How to do all this when you are under the jackboot? In 1700s it happened after the revolution, right?
