Could Democrats do better with these voters with sharper economic populist messaging? Probably, to a small extent. But ultimately if you are willing to install an evil clown because you're a bigoted idiot who doesn't know how anything works but also wants to hurt marginalized people, that's on you.

"that's on you." The point being, of course, that it actually falls on everyone. Remember the days when the Left understood the structures that define society, rather than an atomised individual view of the world.

Hell yes. I've said it a million times: if you voted for him in 2016, too bad, you got suckered. If you voted for him in 2020, what's wrong with you, weren't you paying attention at all for 4 years? If you voted for him in 2024 - you're simply irredeemable at this point. You chose this.
