So...attorneys out there. In a just world with a functional legal system, what would be the actual accountability consequences for Stephen Miller for this blatant 1st amendment violation?
Not my area of practice, but it sounds like, until recently, this could've been a § 1983 claim (I guess by Media Matters), which used to allow people to sue gov't officials for violating their constitutional rights. IIRC, SCOTUS, this past term, severely cut back on the availability of § 1983 claims
