Everyone in Dem circles needs to read this. It is 100% spot on. The biggest problem by far is the top-down consultant class in the party stifling authentic content that actually speaks to voters.

It starts and ends with politicians and their choices. Especially in our almost entirely privately owned msm situation where electeds are the only possible source of real, wide reaching and amplified information. Why else did you recommend they should view this? To learn something about themselves?

There’s no such thing as authentic content. If you are an online media figure you do what you have to to be picked up by the algorithm, and to not get yelled at by the internet cool kids. I don’t know if this is effective, but just trusting online people to not just yield murc’s law is folly.

Listen to Democrats who vote. Mamdani understands the base in NYC. He is great at community building. He has a refreshing message for working class families and people struggling to make ends meet. Many do not care for the ultra rich who have gamed the system to their advantage for a long time.
