you know Mark the sad thing here is his approval is still at 40% - despite all the carnage. there have been a few polls showing him around 38% approval. but it just seems impossible to drive him down to the low-mid 30s level.....

And honestly his approval is STILL too high. And I'm not convinced it will even stay where it is. I have lost trust in american voters to have any object permanence at all. Last Nov shattered that trust. The naive assumption that people...think. His approval is roughly where it was last time around.
