JB Pritzker uses the word "invasion" to describe what Trump has planned for my city, Chicago. And that's exactly what it would be – an autocratic government trying to crush our dissent because we oppose his corruption, cruelty and incompetence. It's what dictators do.
Just common sense would tell you something like this needs to be coordinated. Otherwise it seems like a hostile takeover.

That word choice is perfect for its directness. It kicks to the curb all the confounding arguments over Trump's bullshit pretext by declaring his motives up front.
He already invaded Los Angeles and DC and both are still occupied. I can say for a fact, Noem is a moron when she says LA would have fallen if not for President Trump. The way she talks about LA and its businesses and homes impacted by the riot is deeply corrupt. She is wrong on every level.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what Pritzker said, but it sounds like his biggest complaint is "they're not coordinating with local law enforcement." Does that mean he'd be good with T's invasion plans as long as T coordinated the invasion with local LE?
