Last time I visited your hellhole, I took an architecture cruise, visited the Art Institute of Chicago, hung out at Millennium Park, went birding in a nature preserve, ate some great pizza, and took public transit to and from the airport. Unlike the Secretary of Transportation, I wasn't scared. 🥰

Here in the "smoldering hellscape" of Oakland, strangely enough, people are out and about as well. Strolling around Lake Merritt, kids and dogs everywhere, having summer fun. Thanks for this post!
