It sadly isn’t. This has been coming for a while and still only 31% of the electorate did the right thing. The rest either voted for fascism, 3rd candidates that couldn’t win or didn’t bother to vote at all. This is of course not all America is but is definitely a part of what America is.

The EU and its MSs needs to work towards becoming independent of the US. They are not our allies/friends.
