My husband's grandfather, Dr. Alan R. Moritz, conducted (with Dr. Frank Cleveland) an autopsy of George Reeves at his mother's request. He and Cleveland agreed with the suicide conclusion. But it was a good movie.

Plenty of people disagree with Dr. Moritz, but two autopsies came to the same conclusion. Every medical examiner who actually autopsied Reeves' body agreed it was suicide. (Say, ask your local library to buy the biography my husband wrote, published earlier this year by CRC Press.)
