I wish the CDC directors would go on local news or write in local newspapers. NYT is paywalled - I can’t even read this or share it. And most people aren’t reading NYT opinions. How can we get the warning to regular ppl ?

Appreciate this! My overall point is that most people are not going to read it - but they may watch local news or have the local paper. I would like to see experts talk directly to the people and not thru 3rd parties. Grifters are winning bc they aren’t messaging thru NYT.

We can share articles on Bluesky, sure. But what about the offline? How am I going to reach the greater community? I think the message would reach a lot of people if, ie, Rochelle Wolensky went on the local news or local NPR station and sounded the alarm. That’s my opinion.
