Sometimes I need a reminder of how lucky we are in Australia. I have seen John Howard (Lib ex-PM) and Julia Gillard (Lab ex-PM) walking in Sydney and Melbourne without any security (or none that I could see). Lucky is not the word: we need to work hard to preserve this way of life.
