1. Only simple minded people believe that conflicts like this are ever simple. 2. If Russia at any point truly wanted that (I doubt it) then it has already failed to do so, back in 2022. Before countless other Ukrainians and Russians died for no good reason.
3. The USA is now basically a Fascist State. It already acted like one for decades in countless situations, its just more obvious, more official now. The US dominates NATO. It decides how other NATO members act. So in practice: We in Europe we are supporting the fascists as well.
