& if you're in a red state, your rights are already not secure. maybe we don't have to worry (yet) about the national guard being sent to "fight crime" or whateve, but red states have already gotten rid of a bunch of rights. Also won't be surprised if blue cities are targeted even in red states.

The only difference is most red state governors will welcome the takeover of blue cities (even the state capitals) and blue state governors mostly won't.

We have been painfully aware of this for a while and when we have turned to the national Democrat party for help, we realize we have been abandoned for a long while. And it doesn't help when the state Dem leader is only a placeholder. Hopefully the blue state governors are preparing for whats coming

Do not count on the national party to step up. If you are in a blue state, don't take anything for granted and do everything you can to safeguard your rights.

Not sure if you're in a red or blue state, but as someone in TX, I definitely usually feel that we've been abandoned by the DNC. A whole lot of our elections (in a city in TX) are basically decided in the Republican primary; often no democratic candidate at all. I get emails asking to help (1/2)

Dems in other states get elected, but almost never anything for here; mostly just hear about Beto & Colin Allred. Terry Virts (retired astronaut; www.terryvirts.com) & Michael Swanson also announced for Senate, but I've heard practically nothing about them. They need some exposure to have a shot.
