earlier this year, my country (Sweden) had one of the worst mass/school shooting in history, this happened in febuary and now 1st of August ar-15 hunting rifles and similar are banned. Now I know that there are differences between our nations but I will never understand the gun culture in the US.

Australia's gun violence went down after their similar bans in the 1990's. Countries are more alike than different, these days

Sure, this new law is not perfect. You can still buy semi auto hunting rifles, it is more or less the ones that you can much easier modify, put accessories on that have been banned. in my opinion it is something, and while not perfect you dont need AR15s for hunting.

I like shooting guns and I do wish sometimes it would be easier to get them but all I need to think about is that if it was easier, then so many more would be dead and that always makes me change my mind on the subject. If it means saving lives then im all for making it harder to get.

There are cultural differences in our nations. What there should never be are differences in our humanity. I will never understand the gun culture of the US and I grew up and have lived all me life here. My dad put food on the table regularly with a shotgun, no AR whatever needed.

A massive amount of money spent on propaganda. Its sad and frustrating to read about it happening again, even tho im on the other side of the ocean, cant even imagine how frustrating and hard it must be for you all. Especially with everything else going on.
