Some of them do it too. Born and raised in a deep red town with a lot of crazy religious "Christians". I've seen and heard way too much.

When I was about 12, our family moved from California (very blue state) to Texas (very red state). The behavior and hypocrisy of these "good Christians" that I saw really impacted me and is what initially lead me down the road to atheism.
