If they had to consider every game that might come out they would never release.
That's not what I said. They don't have to consider "every game" but it definitely would have been nice to announce the date with a wide margin so everybody could have prepared better their release windows, promos, etc. This is not just a random game, it's the most wishlisted game in Steam
That's really not their responsibility at all
Sure buddy they are not obligated to anything, that doesn't mean they don't have a huge responsibility with the impact of their actions.
I think you're grossly overstating the impact this will have on a handful of indie games
