This is not correct. Look at the weight lifted my M and F weightlifters in the Olympics and see how much more the former can lift.

At the Paris Olympics, the winner of the men’s 73kg weight class lifted 354kg.

At the same Olympics, the winner of the closest F category (71kg) lifted 262kg. (The heaviest weight lifted by a F winner, in the 81+ category, lifted 309kg.)

Indeed, a male who weighed 61kg lifted a heavier weight that the female who weighted in excess of 81kg. It is pretty evident that biology makes a considerable difference in sporting performance.

And what evolutionary value does “sporting performance” have? Apart, that is, from the fact that you don’t need to be able to run faster than a sabre-tooth tiger just as long as you can run faster than your companions who look just as tasty?
