We can, and should, always be doing both. To always strive to be better, even when our opponents strive to be worse. Solidarity is standing with the oppressed. Not telling the oppressed to tolerate a bit more oppression because asking for human decency isn't something worth doing rn. 2/3

This doesn't mean screaming matches whenever his name is mentioned or flat-out refusing to prevent fascism on a broader scale. But this is a conversation worth having when he still has plenty of time to take that on board for his campaign. It's an integral part of democracy itself.
