Bronze statues. Perseus after the beheading of Medusa. His left leg rests on the victim's body, and Perseus's left arm is raised, displaying the severed head. In the background is Palazzo Vecchio, the seat of the municipality of Florence. The Italian and city flags can be seen on the balcony to the left. On the left, below, the copy of Michelangelo's marble statue of David.
