Me, too! She's a sweetie. We've tried to adopt her but she refuses to be an indoor cat so I just gotta hope she opts to stick close by us, where at least we can keep an eye on her.

Maybe this will change now. I've seen those sudden changes quite often with my cats. Our newest addition, Miro, has been around for at least three years, always shy, never any sign he wanted to be anywhere near humans...a few weeks ago...boom, one of the gang, almost too clingy now. Cats 🤷🏻♀️

Oh and, this might sound weird, but the thing that helps me most to gain the trust of a feral / shy cat is when I sleep in the same room as them. Nothing shows them that you are no danger to them better than that. Not sure if you can do this, but it might be worth a try. All the best to both of you❤️
