I can’t celebrate a holiday about freedom when people’s rights and freedoms are being taken away. As our government has repeatedly ignored constitutional rights and laws. I will not celebrate a holiday when I have to prepare myself for possibly losing my insurance and millions will suffer. 💔
I used to be so proud of America and being an American. Now I think our forefathers never thought we’d lose our way but seems we have, sadly.
I hear you. This is the first year that we haven’t attended the 4th of July parade in our town. It’s meaningless with what’s happening to this country.
That is a form of protest and sends a message to your local leaders and no revenue to the vendors ... etc. Celebrate at home and watch "The Patriot" (sucks Mel Gibson is in it) find your strength and never forget what we fought.
Don't let them take away what Independence Day is all about. Remember your forefathers who fought and won and never gave up. Celebrate as your younger self and remember how proud you were to be an American. Celebrate eating a hot dog, and watching "The Patriot" and survive. You got this ❤️🤍💙
