Sorry, I lived in Huntsville 25 years ago, and while I know that’s not close to Daphne, there really wasn’t any sort of liberal enclave anywhere in the state, really. Maybe it’s changed in that time - you’d know better than I would. :)

So is Marfa, Texas but I would hesitate to say that there are a lot of liberals there, either. Daphne is so close to Mobile and the gulf that just because you knew the only liberals in the area doesn’t mean the entire town would sustain enough people to be the only voices at a town hall meeting.
