He hasn't spoken to Wab Kinew. And I think he's pretty pissed off. He asked if this is what elbows down looks like. What the fuck did we do to piss off China? Are we violating FIPA? The tariffs are not logical in any sense.

Isn’t it our tariffs on EV vehicles the issue? Premiere Kinew suggested those be removed if “we are in the business of removing tariffs”.

I'd tend to agree with him. Protecting large corporations has to stop - farmers get pushed aside for EV manufacturing? It makes no sense. And Manitoba's economy is going to suffer greatly.

I reached mine a long time ago. He has done things that are full out Conservative moves and mirrored way too much of what Pierre has promised to do. I don't trust him to take care of all of us - he's in it for himself and will leave office a billionaire.

Well, that makes sense. But they're protecting one industry over another. And canola biofuels can be used in passenger vehicles, making them much more cost effective for the consumer. We'll never buy an electric vehicle - we've bought the last car we intend to buy. 2024 Rogue Platinum.

So while I get it, it can't just stay this way indefinitely. Canola is Canada's most valuable crop and a major export. The disconnect of protecting one part of the economy over the other is frustrating and is going to destroy many family businesses in Manitoba. Carney cares about corporations.
