Most officers are ultra-conservative white men who came up in a system that reinforced the beliefs of ultra-conservative white men. The Air Force especially is absolutely infested with Trump maggots.

I get that about white officers for sure. Glad I’m long past my days of living on USAF bases. My dad was a USAF NCO—son of Irish immigrants. Back in those days(70s/80s) I can’t imagine our fellow military friends supporting Trumps’ Constitution stomping!

Bro is a retired Navy pilot (cargo, not fighter), so he rubbed elbows with the top brass from time to time. After his fifth year, he just kept his head down, served his other 15 for the benefits flying cargo planes, and never advanced his career. He didn't want to become part of that system.

He's an airline pilot now and lives in Britain. He left the US when Trump was elected. So did my father, a 31 year career State employee. My parents moved to my mother's homeland, Brazil.
