She has never lived in a rural area, has she? She has never had to wait for an hour for an ambulance while you watched someone bleeding from a chainsaw cut, or faced 50 miles of rough dirt roads to reach a doctor.

Another point - I, too, have access to American healthcare. However, I live in Australia, so I could possibly die before I got there!
