An amendment requires 2/3 of both House and Senate. Then it has to he ratified by 3/4 of the states. As the House and Senate currently stand, that'll never happen. The other option is 2/3 of House and Senate have to call for a National Convention. Again, will never happen.
Sure, & no one will be denied due process & entire government agencies won't be dissolved without Congressional approval &... In a sane world, I'm with you, 100%. But with this corrupt SCOTUS & Trump pushing every guard rail at once, I wouldn't put it past them to allow it, if he lives long enough.
