American songwriter Arthur Hamilton has died at 98. He wrote the standard “Cry Me a River” which was popularized in the version by Julie London. my favourite version may be the Joe Cocker one from 1970, off the Mad Dogs & Englishmen LP, with Leon Russell on keys. m.youtube.com/watch?v=Tjs3...

My favourite too- Leon Russell was the epitome of cool, we all wanted to be Claudia Kennear, hours of listening to this album, RIP Arthur Hamilton (great, great song)
