There are no restraints. There is no law. He's been let off the hook constantly for all of his crimes, laws don't matter to him, because if they did he would have been jailed decades ago.

It's worse. Reality doesn't matter to him. He feels justified calling the 2020 election rigged, despite everyone losing in court, or folding like a molten Mars bar before court, whenever they're challenged to prove the claim.

Trump is going to roll on his terms and Congress will bend to what he wants. The midterms are a long way off yet and Trump is getting antsy to take full control of this country.

I'm of the opinion most Americans aren't prepared enough or are willing to inflict violence to preserve democracy; the rest are blacks who've decided they're done helping whites clean up their messes only to be continuously held down after the fact. Fascism didn't kill democracy, apathy did.

Democracy does not need to exist for fascism to take hold. Apathy is only part of it, denial that it could ever happen here is another. Your point on Blacks view is noted, and one could say the same of women of any color who have been held down by the Patriarchy.

You and I both know he has no intention of acting within the law. At best, it serves as a slight impediment to his intentions. As far as he's concerned, the law exists so he can flout it and brag about not having to worry about checks and balances

Why would he care about the law? He attempted an insurrection and faced no justice whatsoever for even that. The only Biden really did was give his co-conspirators time to remove ALL of the guardrails of law, while stupid americans pretended that idiot Biden was following the law.
