If you shuck and boil it, you can slice it off the cobs and freeze it in freezer bags. Stays perfectly good for years, much better than other corn

Way my dad used to do it was to boil it normally, then take a good knife and run it down the cob taking as much of the kernel off. Then putting a serving or two in a flat thin layer in ziplock bags and freezing them that way. He'd have "fresh" corn all year long that way.

The closest you can get is to spread something out on an aluminum baking sheet. You would have to cut the corn off the cob for that to work.
