I won't go back to Clearwater. I lived there for abt a yr. I met a lot of good ppl, but a lot more not so good ppl. There were so many scammy jobs, & being young and not knowing then what Scientology is, I almost got roped into that by a co-worker. It was just a weird experience.

I lived in Bonita Springs, Sarasota, Estero, & the greater Orlando area. I don't miss a darned thing about Florida. The bugs and gators can have it.

OMG yes, the bugs! We had fleas in the yard and of course mosquitoes. And I about peed my pants the first time I saw a palmetto bug go by my head. I thankfully never crossed paths with a gator, but I wasn't there long enough to do much exploring.

we realized that the frogs and lizards would fall out of the trees and it was a common occurrence. Lizard hit me when falling once and my soul left my body.

I worked as a telemarketer for a bit and the building I was in had a drainage ditch out back along with our smoking table. I saw some pretty good sized snakes and tons of those little lizards

That Scientology stuff is everywhere over there. Once I went to a fair and they had me hold these things that measure distress,I guess, and you think about what’s stressing you out the most and the gauge goes bonkers. Then they supposedly have books on whatever is distressing for you. 😬

I got invited to a "book club." The host had a cool looking cross on her mantle & I asked about it. After that, it was like listening to an MLM pitch, but at the time I thought they just really dug their church. I didn't accept any more invites lol
