But I understand where you’re coming from, insofar as these “centrist” voices who made a devil’s bargain with the right were, in the broader context of US politics, often “liberals” or at least left-of-center Democrats. /11
Regardless, liberal Zionism still failed in my telling, but not from lack of effort. And the legacy center failed catastrophically for the reasons you suggest. /end
