I had to quit after going to the championship two years in a row. It was way more stress than I wanted to deal with. Turns out I don't do well at gambling, like, at all.

I get that, FFB has absolutely confirmed my aversion to gambling as being a terrible case of loss aversion. A college friends league added an optional prize pool to keep people invested & I do well at it & would def be cash positive but I opted out as any financial pressure ruins the fun for me
I just want an excuse to have a lot of friendly banter w/ old friends, not a weekly reminder of why my brain doesn’t want me to be happy lol
Same. I joined it for the banter but there wasn’t as much banter as I expected. That said, I learned that not watching or caring about football is a superpower in FFB.
it’s def a great exercise in observing overreactions to tiny sample sizes & sunk cost mentality, 1 of my best early teams was when travel made me autodraft so I had no allegiance to my roster or preseason expectations. a useful learning exp lol
