I guess Trump's tariffs are starting to hurt the consumer. Every Sunday, I check out online sales and prices of items I usually buy and want at CVS. Today, I discovered many of those prices have gone up 15 to 20%. I guess if I want them, there will be no more A/C for me this summer in my hot apt.

Using the East Room as a quasi-ballroom limited those in attendance to 200. I’ve never been….but that size room probably creates a nice, smaller intimacy than a 650 person event. Spending 200 million dollars to build a larger catering space is totally obscene in these inflationary times
